This paper references Adizes (1979, 1988) as one of the primary lifecycle frameworks when examining whether an organization’s lifecycle stage moderates the innovation–performance relationship. The authors use Adizes’s model to classify entrepreneurial firms into development stages and investigate how innovation emphasis varies accordingly.
