The New Tower of Babel
The Bible tells us that when the people built the city of Babel, God confused their language and they could not communicate very well with each other. Why would a confusion of language happen at that point in time? When they decided to build the city, humans were moving from being a nomadic society to a settled society. It was a major change. Why would the language get confused? Because language reflects experiences, and agricultural society uses analogies from agriculture that are different from those of a nomadic society. Our nomadic ancestors learned a lot from trees, starting with how to adapt to changing seasons. Once we settled into developed communities, we derived our analogies from streets, buildings, infrastructure and objects. Today our language is driven by images from technology. We say things like “I am fading,” “tone it down” and “my system is overstressed.”
Creations Start With Love
According to physics, time and space began when the Big Bang occurred, which means that if anything existed before the Big Bang, it was not limited by time and space. It was limitless. What has no limits? What cannot be bound by time or space?

The Benefits of Meditation
I've written in the past in several blogs about the benefits of meditation. In my meditation today, I got some insights of the benefits that I got from meditating over time. Why must Facebook change the organizational structure?
Breaking news – Facebook has changed its name to Meta. The first question we all asked ourselves when we heard was – what is Meta? The second – why? The term “metaverse” comes from science fiction and refers to a 3D virtual world inhabited by avatars of real people. Facebook defines it as a set of virtual spaces in which you can create and explore with other people who aren't in the same physical space as you. It is a concept that is broader than any one application, and it can be used anywhere – an excellent focal point for R&D efforts, with the potential for a bright future.
Respect and Suspect (Kabdehu ve Hashdehu) 1
A Jewish sage prescribed the following behavior in interacting with others: “kabdehu ve hashdehu.” Translated, it means: “Respect and Suspect.” Let's try to understand this prescription. First, let's interpret the word “respect.”
How We Miscommunicate
I was watching a mother soothing her crying child. The mother was holding her daughter close to her chest, kissing and caressing her lightly. The only sound I could hear were soft murmurs of love. No talking. No preaching. No judging. I thought to myself we are all children at heart. When we are in pain, all we want is to be loved, caressed, held close to the heart, comforted by someone we love, not words. At those moments of hurt and anguish, words only interfere with our need to feel and be felt.
Love Is Not For Ever. Can it Be?
Everything we do in life is to feel love. The money we make, the career, the fame we chase, the painting we paint, the music we compose or sing, it is all to get or give love. And if you are a criminal, you probably didn't get enough love. You're trying to get attention, for love... criminally. Allow a prisoner to have a little puppy and you will see what happens: the murderer melts like butter in the sun. He feels love. Criminals in prison put out crumbs to attract birds to their cell windows. To feel a little bit of love.
