Where have all the flowers (beautiful women) gone, long time passing…?

May 4, 2012

In the beginning of the 1970’s I was consulting in Iceland. The natural beauty of the women there struck me. Twenty years later in 1991, I revisited again on another consulting call. I walked and walked the streets looking for the gorgeous natural beauty I saw twenty years before. They were all gone. Instead, I saw lots of heavy women like in America. What happened? In the 1970’s there were no fast food outlets. During these twenty years Domino's Pizza, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken penetrated the market and the results can be seen.I believe Russia is on its way to lose its beautiful women too. I am now in Moscow. As I walk the streets I am getting dizzy. The women, up to at least forty years old, look gorgeous. Beautiful bodies. No fat. Not strange that most of the models in the United States are from Eastern Europe. But it is all going to change like it did in Iceland. Coca Cola is making its inroads and pushing out the local national drink made of pure fruit juice. Sit in a restaurant and watch who drinks what. The older ones drink the national drink. Then new generation Coca ColaIn 1991, when I was first in Moscow, there was only one McDonald's. Now you can see them on every corner. And KFC is called another name but it is KFC. Chili’s and the TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday) chains are here too. And today I read that Kream Puffy donuts are opening a chain of forty stores. Dunkin Donuts just started. This is it folks. Give it twenty years from now and it will be all over.I have been watching the trend. First men get obese. Then women. Then children. Next is a “flood” of diabetes and heart problems, like heart attacks. Next thereafter, there are beautiful women, but made artificially: liposuction, face-lifts, surgery to cut intestines and surgery to cut and remodel the body. They are beautiful alright but one can see that it was done in an operating room. They are as beautiful as plastic flowers are beautiful.Where have all the natural flowers gone??? To fast food outlets. When will they understand, when will they understand.P.S. I apologize for “stealing” the words of the beautiful song: “where have all the flowers gone…”Sincerely,Dr. Ichak Kalderon Adizes
